According to some News website HEC Launched Free Education Testing Service For Admissions, Scholarships From Spring by this news HEC Warned all the Pakistani Recognised Universities because ETC(Education Testing Service) Stoped NTS Form Taking Test of HEC Recognised Universites.
Higher Education Commission
ETC (Education Testing Service) is a testing service launched by the HEC and will be functioning from next year – 2017. Most important part is, there will be no fees to pay for appearing in the tests.
The service will be introduced to facilitate students as it will be free of cost whereas NTS charges a fee from the students to appear in tests. This would be a great motivation for all students
Free Entry Testing Service to Compete with NTS
29th Dec, 2016 All the expenses of education testing council (ETC) will be paid by Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. Results will be declared within two hours after the end of test. HEC has finally established its own testing service i.e ETC (education testing council) for the government and private universities and institutions of the Pakistan to provide free testing services for entry test. This revolutionary step will compete eduction testing service with national testing service(NTS) that charges minimum 500 PKR per candidate from different institutions. Complaints about NTS are increasing day by day. Result of admission and entry tests are announced too late. Lot of cases against NTS was brought in the court of law.
